Week 21

This week we learned all about cells. We learned how animal cells and plant cells. We discussed those difference in great lengths and we also discussed the vital things that make them separate. On Friday we made edible plant and animal cells. We continued our discussion on Patience, and how God expects patience from us.

Tater is still working on Josefina, and her math work. Tater has also made great strides this week in learning how to tie her shoes. Yes, that's right, I now have a shoe tyer on my hands. It took Tater one week to learn how to tie her shoes, but she persisted, had patience, and listened when Momma taught her baby to tie her shoes.I am proud of my girl.

Jr Bug is now a reader!!!! My big boy is learning to read. He is learning to read, and pretty soon, he will be reading as many books as Tater reads. He is also working on learning everything he needs to know for Kindergarten in math. He is doing several pages of his math notebook a day, in addition to his regular math notebook. He seems to have va knack for math, and I am letting him run wild with it.

Here are some pictures from our busy week:

Our Edible Plant (rice krispy) and Animal (donuts) cells that we decorated with candy pieces and marshmallows.
Painting our Fruit of the Spirit Pineapples with pineapple juices.

Some serious learning usually takes place at The Vine Academy.
Our Fruit of the Spirit bouquet is really growing.

Every morning that we have school we do our prayers, our Calendar, and our Pledge of Allegiance.

Stay tuned, because of next week we will learn about blood, what's in our blood, and we will be making bloody experiments.
