Week 33

So this week was the week of learning to be creative. We spent time creating pictures, bird feeders, towers, addition facts, and new games to learn about synonyms. We were also creative in our transportation unit in social studies. This has been a fun and busy week, and I will let the pictures do the teaching for you.

Here are some pictures from our bird studies we've been learning about. Its hard to believe that after next week we are done learning about birds.
Jr Bug is learning all about the letter N and the nuthatch bird that lays its nine eggs.
Tater and Jr Bug watching a bird movie.
Jr Bug making his bird feeder with bird seed and peanut butter.
Tater making her bird feeder.
The best part of making a bird feeder is eating the peanut butter.
Peanut butter is so good!
Working hard!!!!
Momma and Jr Bug hanging his bird feeder.
A hanging bird feeder.
Tater hanging her bird feeder.
Another bird feeder.
We made two types of bird feeders.
Slowly pouring the bird seeds in.
I want a turn at feeding the birds.
Helping each other get the spoons in the feeder.
We worked on our birds nest last week, and so this week we made birds eggs to go in them. See how creative they are.
Working on her egg. Her birds nest came out really cool.
Working hard on being creative.
A really awesome shot of Jr Bugs birds nest.

And for the rest of our week:
Jr Bug learning the letter N.
Singing about the letter N.
Playing a synonym memory game.
Coloring a picture.
N is for Night.
A 13 block tower.
In Bible class we learned about being creative. The kids drew a picture of a house, the sun, a tree, a red flower, and grass.

Our Transportation unit: In this unit we learned about different modes of transportation and about the styles people use to transport goods. Below you will see coloring pictures, videos, and a suitcase that the kids practice packing.

As you can see, we have had a really really busy creative week. Hope you enjoyed. Next week is our last week of bird studies and transportation. Keep in tune for what we have stored.
